I finished my very first crocheted project last night.... a scarf for Abby. She wore it for the first time to school today, and she let me take a picture before she left.

She loves her new scarf! It is kind of bright, and it doesn't really match her coat, but that's not the point! She says it is pretty, and I am happy to be learning a new craft. It feels good to be successful with my first project. Now I just have to make the matching hat!
I think the scarf is precious! Everyone needs a bright scarf! I knit (scarves only), but plan to learn to crochet soon.
